How do I get a quote?

Drop me a message via the quote form, email or phone with a few details about the project. I'll usually reply within 24 hours and arrange a free in-home consultation if it's useful.

How far in advance should I book?

Lead times vary by season, typically 2-4 weeks in spring/summer and a little less in winter. For larger projects (full house repaints, multi-room jobs) it's worth getting in touch as early as you can.

Do you offer colour advice?

Absolutely. Choosing colour is one of the trickiest parts of a project, and free, no-pressure advice is included in every quote. I work regularly with Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Dulux Trade.

Do you take on commercial work?

I focus on residential homes across Norfolk, but I do take on small commercial projects, boutique shops, salons and offices. Get in touch and we can chat through it.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer is preferred. A small deposit is usually taken on booking for larger jobs, with the balance settled on completion.

How long does a typical room take?

A standard bedroom (walls, ceiling and woodwork) usually takes 2-3 days, including prep. Larger rooms or heavily damaged walls take a little longer, I'll always give you a clear timeline before we start.

Do you supply the paint?

I can either supply trade paint at cost or work with paint you've already chosen. I'll always recommend the right finish (matt, eggshell, satin) for each surface.

Will you move furniture and protect floors?

Yes, I move and cover all furniture, lay dust sheets across every floor, and tidy up properly at the end of every day.

How much does interior painting cost?

Most rooms in Norwich come in between £350 and £900 depending on size, prep needed and finish. Every quote is free and itemised.

Can you hang any type of wallpaper?

Yes, traditional paste-the-paper, paste-the-wall, vinyls, grasscloth, hand-printed and large murals. I'll advise if a paper isn't suited to a particular wall.

Do walls need lining first?

Often, yes. Lining paper gives a smooth, even surface so the finished paper looks crisp and lasts longer. I'll tell you honestly when it's worth it and when it isn't.

Absolutely. I strip, wash down and make good the walls before any new paper goes up, no shortcuts.

Wallpapering is usually priced per drop, plus prep. As a rough guide, a feature wall starts around £180; a full hallway is typically £450-£900. You'll get a fixed quote before any work begins.

Of course. I work with customer-supplied fabric, or I can source from a wide range of UK suppliers (Romo, Designers Guild, Linwood, Prestigious and more).

Yes, full measure, make and fit service, including poles, tracks and any small joinery work needed for clean fixings.

How long do made-to-measure curtains take?

Typically 3-5 weeks from fabric approval, depending on the supplier. Roman blinds are usually a touch quicker.

Do you do soft furnishings without painting?

Yes, you don't have to book the painting too. Many clients use me just for curtains, blinds or cushions.
