Mural wallpaper snug
Wroxham, NR12 2 days Numbered panel mural, paste-the-wall
The brief
A Broads-side cottage snug where the clients had bought a numbered mural and, understandably, didn't want to be the ones to hang it.
How it was done
- Dry-laid the panels on the floor first to confirm sequence and check for print faults before pasting.
- Cross-lined the wall so the thin mural stock had a uniform surface underneath.
- Hung panel one off a plumb line, then worked left and right, overlapping and double-cutting where the maker allowed.
- Trimmed tight to the panelling and touched in the rail afterwards.
The finish
The scene reads as one continuous image with no visible joins, even in raking light from the window.
